Recently, multiple “first-phase” projects of South Asia branch of Shandong High Speed Road & Bridge International Engineering Co., Ltd. have achieved new progress and breakthroughs.
Recently, the first installation of an existing railway steel beam was successfully completed in the Dhaka Elevated Expressway Project, Bangladesh. The steel beam measures 22.5 meters in length, 1 meter in width, 2.5 meters in height, and weighs 38 tons. It was installed at a height of 12.19 meters. Additionally, in the Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Expansion Project, the first section of bridge girder was successfully poured. The girder spans 30.6 meters and has a cross-sectional dimension of 3.2x2.2 square meters. A total of 178 cubic meters of concrete were poured.
Facing challenges such as constructing over existing railway lines and handling large girder spans, the Company’s leadership and project technical personnel conducted multiple on-site surveys and technical simulations. A dedicated task force was established to rigorously manage construction risks and optimize project plans, ensuring the smooth progress of the projects.
The successful completion of the “first-phase” projects for these two initiatives has laid a solid foundation for subsequent construction and ensured the achievement of project milestones. Going forward, the South Asia branch of Shandong High Speed Road & Bridge International Engineering Co., Ltd. will take “innovation and high quality of Shandong Hi-speed Group” as its guiding principle. Leveraging the Company’s research and innovation platforms and overseas project expertise, the focus will be on achieving new breakthroughs in technological innovation, quality construction, project management, and other areas.
