Following the successful bid for the Kathmandu Expressway ICB5 section project in Nepal earlier this month, Shandong High Speed Road & Bridge International Engineering Co., Ltd. continues to achieve remarkable results in its market expansion efforts. The Company has now won the bid for the Pangani Bridge project in Tanzania, further expanding its overseas presence and adding to its portfolio of projects.
The project includes the following scope of work: upgrading the existing road to asphalt standard, construction of the Pangani Bridge (525 meters), embankment and drainage structure construction, including box culverts, pipe culverts, road surfacing, and auxiliary works. The contract amount is approximately 42 million US dollars, with a project duration of 36 months. Located in the northeastern part of Tanzania, the project will be a crucial link along the eastern coastal route connecting Kenya and Tanzania to facilitate trade and commerce between the two countries.
The successful bid for the Pangani Bridge project in Tanzania marks another strategic achievement in the Company’s efforts to expand its presence in the international market. In the next phase, the Company will dedicate its full efforts to project construction and further market development.
